Phuket Panwa Beachfront Resort, Cape Panwa

Upon arrival, I was delighted to be upgraded to a royal suite, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the rooms had a rather outdated look, with noticeable cracks in the glass panels overlooking the pool. The service was exceptional, especially Fern at the reception who went above and beyond to rectify a vegetarian food issue and even offered a complimentary massage as a gesture of goodwill. The location was a bit further from the touristy Patong area than expected, making it necessary to rent a scooter to travel around easily. The dining experience was decent but slightly overpriced for the limited fruit and juice offerings. Despite these aspects, my stay was made enjoyable by the well-maintained facilities on the property.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and clean, but I had issues with the fridge, AC, and internet that took quite a while to resolve. The noise from the stairwell was quite bothersome in the morning. However, the service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special with a delightful surprise cake. The location was serene, perfect for a resort-style getaway, but transportation costs to other areas were quite high. Dining was expensive but delicious with a diverse menu. Overall, it's a nice hotel with room for improvement.
